Lemon Garlic Scallops with Black Truffle Sea Salt
Lemon Garlic Scallops with Black Truffle Sea Salt are seared to perfection! These are the easiest and tastiest scallops you will ever make. Make restaurant-quality scallops in your own kitchen!
Ingredients

1 lb natural scallops, washed and patted dry

ground black pepper

2 tbsp butter
-
2 tbsp vegetable stock

juice of half of a lemon

lemon zest from a whole lemon

parsley, to garnish (optional)

Directions:
Once the scallops are patted dry, season each side with Coronado Taste of Oils Black Truffle Sea Salt and pepper. Set aside.
Place the Coronado Taste of Oils Garlic Olive Oil and one tablespoon of butter in a medium skillet and allow the skillet to warm up over medium heat.
Working in batches, place the scallops into the pan and sear each side for 1-2 minutes per side. Set aside and continuing to work in batches until all of the scallops have been seared.
Add the butter, stock, lemon juice and lemon zest to the skillet and bring it to a simmer over medium heat.Place the scallops back into the skillet, pour the sauce over top of the scallops, and garnish with fresh parsley.
