Basil Mango Balsamic Mojito Madness
1 Cup Sugar
1⁄4 Cup water
1⁄4 Cup fresh-squeezed lemon juice
1 Cup packed Basil leaves, divided
2 Parts “Rock-n-Roll” Mango Tequila
1 Part Coronado Taste of Oils White Mango Balsamic
1 Teaspoon Basil-Lemon Syrup (recipe follows)
5 leaves fresh basil, thinly sliced
In a saucepan, add the sugar, water and lemon juice and bring to boil.
Stir until the sugar dissolved.
Add 1⁄4 cup basil leaves, stir and let cool completely.
In a blender, add the cooled, strained syrup.
Add the remaining basil leaves and blend until the leaves are completely pureed and beautiful bright green.
Pour into small bottle and refrigerate until ready to use.
In an OXO shaker, add Tequila and Coronado Taste of Oils White Mango Balsamic.
Add Ice and Basil leaves to shaker.
Pour into glasses, add soda and top with Basil-Lemon syrup.
Garnish with a mango spear and basil leaf, if desired.
