Blackberry-Ginger Balsamic Basil Olive Oil Braised Beef Short Ribs
Ingredients
3 lbs. short ribs
2 Tbsp. Coronado Taste of Oils Basil Olive Oil
Spice Rub
1 tsp. each: salt, black pepper, paprika and oregano
Sauce
1 Cup tomato sauce
4 Tbsp. honey
4 Tbsp. Cornado Taste of Oils Blackberry Ginger Balsamic
1 Tbsp. Harissa Paste
1 lb. fresh or frozen blackberries
Directions:
Preheat oven to 250 degrees
Heat oven-safe roasting pan to medium high.
Rub spice mixture into ribs and add to pot with Coronado Taste of Oils Basil Olive Oil.
Brown on all sides.
Add the rest of the ingredients and braise in oven 5 hours.
Remove meat to a platter and keep warm.
Reduce liquid by half. (Strain out seeds if desired).
Serve with rice made with 2 Tbsp. Coronado Taste of Oils Basil Olive Oil.
