4 Cups whole milk
2 Cups Heavy Cream
1 Teaspoon kosher salt
3 Tbsp. Coronado Taste of Oils Key Lime White Balsamic
Set a large sieve or strainer over a large bowl. (An 8 cup mea-suring cup works well.)
Line the strainer with 3-4 layers of cheesecloth.
In a large pot, add milk, cream and salt and bring to a full boil, stirring occasionally.
Remove from heat and add the Coronado Taste of Oils Key Lime White Balsamic.
(DO NOT STIR).
Let sit for 2-4 minutes.
Ladle or carefully pour through cheesecloth lined bowl.
Allow to drain for 20 minutes.
Carefully pour off liquid and refrigerate overnight, up to 2 days, covered loosely with plastic wrap.
Use this recipe to make your own Key Lime Cheesecake or “schmear” onto crostini for a yummy treat!
