Garlic Olive Oil Serrano Honey Balsamic It’s Paella Party!!!

 


Ingredients

1/4 cup Coronado Taste of Oils Garlic Olive Oil
1 1/2 cups chopped onions
2 red bell peppers chopped

2 Tablespoons minced garlic
2 cups white Basmati rice

4 1/2 cups chicken broth
1/2 cup Serrano Honey Balsamic

1 1/2 Tablespoons “La Dalia” Paella seasoning
1/3 cup licorice flavored liqueur

1 1/2 pounds cooked lobster, shrimp or scallops
1 lb. smoked turkey sausage

1 10oz. package frozen peas
1 tablespoon minced parlsey

2 lemons cut into wedges


Directions

Preheat oven to 425 degrees.

Heat Coronado Taste of Oils Garlic Olive Oil in large Dutch oven.

Add onions & cook 5 mins.
Add red bell peppers & cook additional 5 minutes.

Lower heat, add garlic & cook 1 minute.
Add rice, chicken stock & Balsamic, Paella seasoning & bring to boil.

Cover pot, place in oven for 15 mins.

After, Stir, rice & return to oven uncovered for additional 15 mins.

Transfer paella to stove at medium heat & add Liqueur, stir for 1 minute.

Turn off heat, add seafood, sausage & peas & stir.

Cover & let rest for 10 minutes.

Garnish with lemon wedges.
